The motifs of Bharath and the Temple Tower in the emblem stand for Nationalism and Spiritualism accordingly, which is the motto of the college – Nationalism my body, Spiritualism my soul. The sacred mantra of the patron Pasumpon Muthuramalinga Thevar is found at the foot of the emblem. The lighted lamp in the heart of the motherland is the beacon light of knowledge.
